SEA Grants In-person Event: Showcase and Learning Exchanges

The SEA Grants In-person Event: Showcase and Learning Exchanges will be held on 24–25 June 2026 at the Swissôtel Sanya Yalong Bay, Hainan, China. Organized by the SCS SAP Project, the event brings together SEA Grantees from across the South China Sea region to showcase project achievements, exchange experiences, and strengthen collaboration in community-based marine and coastal conservation.

The event follows the Fourth Project Steering Committee (PSC-4) Meeting and includes a joint field visit on 24 June. On 25 June, SEA Grantees will participate in a series of presentations, panel discussions, and interactive learning exchanges focused on three key impact areas: Ecological and Biological Impact, Outreach and Communications Impact, and Society, Gender and Livelihoods Impact.

Through activities such as the Perspective Swap, Gallery Walk, and 1:1 Speed Twinning sessions, participants will share best practices, discuss challenges and lessons learned, explore sustainability and financing opportunities, and build networks for future collaboration. The event aims to strengthen knowledge exchange, promote innovative approaches to marine conservation, and foster long-term partnerships that support sustainable coastal communities throughout the region.
