SEA:LEARN Consultation and Workshop

The SCS SAP Project Coordination Unit is convening a stakeholder consultation on SEA:LEARN, a regional knowledge management platform under development for the East Asian Seas. The consultation brings together partner organizations and regional experts to review the platform's proposed information architecture and core features, and to identify how SEA:LEARN can best serve the data, knowledge, and capacity-building needs of organizations, managers and communities working across marine conservation in the region.
The two-day event will focus on three areas: the relevance of SEA:LEARN's content categories to partners' existing data and information holdings; the usefulness of planned platform features; and opportunities for SEA:LEARN to complement and amplify partners' current platforms and reach. Input gathered will directly inform the platform's development ahead of its target pilot launch at the UNEP COBSEA Intergovernmental Meeting in October 2026.
