Third Meeting of the SCS SAP Regional Scientific and Technical Committee (RSTC-3)

The Third Meeting of the SCS SAP Regional Scientific and Technical Committee (RSTC-3) will be held from 26-28 January 2026. This event marks the second in-person gathering since the start of the SCS-SAP Project, following the second RTSC meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand, in July 2024.
This meeting serves a critical objective in the TDA-SAP process: to conduct a thorough review and discussion of the draft regional and national Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (TDA) reports.
The importance of the RSTC-3 lies in the foundational role of these TDA reports. They provide the essential scientific and technical justification for the development of both national Strategic Action Programme (SAP) priorities and regional SAP priorities. The topics of discussion will center on these findings, ensuring that the resulting regional SAP effectively addresses transboundary action priorities while supporting national goals.
